EDTMPA is white crystalline powder at room temperature, with a melting point of 215-217℃, slightly soluble in water (solubility less than 5% at room temperature), and easily soluble in ammonia water.
EDTMPA is a high-purity reagent with non-toxic property and strong ability to chelate metal ions. In the electronic industry, it can be used as a cleaning agent for semiconductor chips in the manufacture of integrated circuits; in the pharmaceutical industry, it is used as a carrying agent for radioactive elements for disease examination and treatment.
