Laboratory Overview

Prio’s R&D Laboratory is the core driver of technological innovation within its integrated R&D, application, and quality-control system. Equipped with chemical synthesis facilities, dynamic simulation platforms, and water-quality analysis instruments, it develops advanced water treatment chemicals, including scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, biocides, and defoamers.
Focused on low-phosphorus and phosphorus-free solutions, the team addresses scaling, corrosion, microbial growth, and foaming under challenging high-salinity, high-hardness, and high-chlorine conditions. From formulation screening and performance testing to pilot trials and commercial production, the laboratory validates each product throughout its development cycle.
Through collaboration with research institutions and continuous independent innovation, Prio develops compliant, high-performance solutions that improve system reliability, reduce operating costs, and support water treatment projects worldwide.

Three Major Functions of the Laboratory

Prio has established an integrated technical system comprising a Quality Control Laboratory, an Application Laboratory, and an R&D Laboratory. Covering the entire process from innovation and development to operating-condition adaptation and final quality inspection, this system ensures product reliability, solutions tailored to real-world conditions, and fully controlled quality throughout the production process.

Quality Control Laboratory

It carries out full-process inspection for raw materials and finished products. Strictly test effective content, physical and chemical indicators for each batch with standardized testing procedures. Realize whole-process quality traceability to guarantee stable product quality and deliver reliable products to global customers.

Application Laboratory

We simulate on-site working conditions to conduct dosage optimization and compatibility tests for circulating water and RO systems. Customize targeted application schemes according to actual water quality, verify the optimal dosing mode, avoid operational risks, accelerate on-site commissioning and help customers cut operation cost and stabilize water treatment systems.
