1· Performance and Applications

EDTMPS is a nitrogen-containing organic polyphosphonate, belonging to cathodic corrosion inhibitors. Compared with inorganic polyphosphates, its corrosion inhibition rate is 3 to 5 times higher. It is miscible with water, non-toxic and pollution-free, with excellent chemical stability and temperature resistance, and still has good scale inhibition effect at 200℃. It can dissociate into 8 positive and negative ions in aqueous solution, thus it can chelate with multiple metal ions to form macromolecular network complexes with multiple monomer structures, which are loosely dispersed in water and disrupt the normal crystallization of calcium scale. EDTMPS has an excellent scale inhibition effect on calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scale.

EDTMPS is used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor for circulating water and boiler water, a complexing agent for cyanide-free electroplating, a chelating agent and oxygen bleaching stabilizer in the textile printing and dyeing industry.

3· Usage Method

When EDTMPS is dosed alone in circulating cooling water, the general dosage is 2~10mg/L. After EDTMPS is compounded with HPMA in a ratio of 1:3, it can be used for internal water treatment of low-pressure boilers. EDTMPS can also be used in combination with BTA, PAAS, zinc salts, etc.

4· Packaging and Storage

EDTMPS is packed in plastic drums, Standard capacities: 25kg, 250kg, 1250kg (IBC tank).Note: Packaging weight can be adjusted according to customer requirements. Store in a cool indoor place. The shelf life is twelve months.

5· Safety Protection

EDTMPS is alkaline. Pay attention to labor protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
